The Neath Port-Talbot VTS involves jobs in Neath, Port-Talbot and Swansea. This part of South Wales is an area of outstanding natural beauty. We have the Brecon Beacons to the North and Mumbles and The Gower Peninsular to the south. The area has excellent schools, and there is plenty to do for trainees and their families. Where else in the U.K can you sail, dive, kayak, rock climb, paraglide, windsurf, go caving, mountain bike, go to the theatre, experience city centre nightlife and restuarants, chill on the beach, shop to you drop and all within a 20 minutes drive?

There are excellent transport links by rail, road and air. All the hospitals and sugeries are within easy reach of the M4. Trains to London take 3 hours from Swansea, slightly less from Neath. There are airports in Swansea, Cardiff (40 miles) and Bristol (80 miles).

Swansea is the second city of Wales, with all the facilities you would expect of any major city.
