Teaching

The VTS half day teaching programme is on Tuesday afternoon. All GP Registrars are expected to attend, and are released for clinical duties to do so. Trainees in hospital jobs are encouraged to attend where their clinical committments allow them to do so.

Throughout the year, key topics relevant to General Practice are covered, both clinical and management, with advice and support for those sitting summative assessment and MRCGP examinations.

Registrars are expected to prepare CSA topics or present hot topics on a rota system.
